BC Digital Divide was recently involved with tutoring new computer recipients in the use of the computer systems we were donating to them. This was coordinated through Britannia Elementary School in East Vancouver.

The 4 families that showed up for two 90 minute sessions were each given:

  • Very impressive computers donated by Pivotal Software
  • Monitors donated by a variety of individuals
  • Educational software donated by Staples
  • 6-months free high-speed Internet donated by Shaw

We sent out thank-you notes to all of these corporate donors and received an interesting response from Steve Medicoff at Shaw.
